The Spanish pavilion at the Brussels 58 World Expo won the
prize ahead of "
the Atomium". Designed by José Antonio Corrales and Ramón Vázquez Molezún, this building that should be removable, respect the
existing trees and save a central hill of about 6 meters, had as
its most outstanding element the famous hexagonal umbrellas, about 130 in
total.
